Trinny London – Trinny Woodall's trending, eponymous makeup and skincare line – has been a mainstay in our makeup bags since it launched back in 2017. Forget ingredients you can barely pronounce and products that take serious skill to apply. The best Trinny London products deliver professional results while keeping things simple. But Trinny’s success doesn’t end with cosmetics. Trinny London's skincare story began fairly recently, with the launch of two nourishing cleansers: the Better Off gel cleanser and Be Your Best Enzyme Balm cleanser. Trinny then introduced us to the next chapter of her skincare range: exfoliants, which balance highly active, glow-boosting acid exfoliants with nourishing, hydrating ingredients to support the skin barrier and help you reach your skin goals.

Now? The beauty mogul has dropped three new serums: the Overnight Clarity and Overnight Sensation retinal serums (designed for use after cleansing and exfoliating and before a luxe moisturiser, working 11 times faster than other retinols to tackle fine lines and dull complexions) and the Boost Up 30% Vitamin C Serum for face.
First up: the retinal serums. “As a category, the retinoid category is the most complicated category of skincare for a woman because there are so many different types and they do so many different things,” Trinny told us. These high-dose, targeted formulations aim to make things simple.
Overnight Clarity is for skin aged between 25 and 40. It targets pesky hormonal breakouts or the first signs of fine lines. “The next morning you wake up and you think ‘what did I put on my skin last night because it looks good?’” Trinny said. This serum is also great if you’ve got that congestion that begins around seven days before the start of your period. “This is amazing, even just for those seven to 10 days – use it every night,” Trinny suggested.
For those who are 40+, the Overnight Sensation is the serum to go for. Bringing energy and life back to skin that’s lost its oomph, it contains both granactive retinoid® for aiding in cell turnover, and retinal which will actively boost collagen and elastane to give you bouncier and firmer skin.
