THIS TRIP WILL TAKE PLACE WITH MINIBUSES, NOT COACHES
Once again, from the organisers of the Houten Reptile show, we are pleased to provide our service to possibly the largest reptile show in Holland, and one of the top shows in Europe.
Houten for the Holidays
Another chance to treat yourself as we again head over the water to Holland.
Leaving late on Friday 5th December from our normal meeting point in Ashford, Kent, we cross the channel by train and make our way through France and Belgium overnight, arriving in the town of Utrecht. Here, early in the morning we check in at our hotel (although rooms may not be available till later).
Once refreshed, you have the rest of the day and evening to yourself, free to explore the exciting city, its canals, shopping, and cafes along with a range of museums.
If enough people want to join in, we can jump in the mini bus and head into Amsterdam for some Christmas shopping.
Your return to the 4 star hotel is at your leisure, where you can rest and recharge in luxury.
The following morning, we depart for the show in Houten making use of early entry tickets which allow entrance upon arrival.
Having spent the day at the show, when everyone is shopped out, we once again head off in the min bus towards home.
All being well, we should arrive back in Kent for around 11pm on Sunday 7th December.
As normal for our trips, we allow the transport of reptiles, amphibians and inverts for personal collections.
The show closes around 4 pm, when we depart the Expo centre and head back to the Euro Tunnel via some ´duty free´ shopping in Belgium.

The Terraria Houten shows are way up on the list of the biggest reptile shows in Europe.
Held in the exhibition centre in the Dutch town of Houten, the location benefits from full facilities including dining areas. There is an abundance of space making for quite a relaxed day.
The show covers some 6000 square meters and boasts 1000 meters of table space, and opens to buyers from 10am to 4pm.
At this show you can find reptiles, spiders, rodents, insects and all types of accessories.
