Gigi Hadid took stock of all those sheer dresses, corsets, and pants, and put all three together for the ultimate birthday look.

On 23 April, Gigi celebrated her 27th birthday with a party at Zero Bond in New York City. Guests included Bella Hadid, Yolanda Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski, and Blake Lively, to name a few. But the most show-stopping look came from Gigi Hadid herself, who wore a head-to-toe white lace outfit by Dion Lee, complete with a sheer corset, pants, and sweeping lace coat with ‘80s inspired shoulder pads.

Gigi kept her long blonde hair pulled back in a pony and opted for a bold cat-eye, a soft bronzey contour, and a matte mauve lip. With the mix-and-matched pearl necklaces draping her neck, the entire look is giving bridal Bridgerton in the 21st century.

Blake Lively went in the complete opposite sartorial direction, opting for a simple mini dress in bright purple, which she colour-blocked with bright red pumps and a matching clutch.

As for Bella Hadid, the model once again committed to the '90s aesthetic with a pinstripe mini skirt set with a hint of lace. Bella paired the look with leather thigh-high boots and a zig-zag headband that is giving this writer serious flashbacks. Glad the accessory looks good on someone!

In honour of Gigi Hadid's birthday, Bella posted a heartfelt message to her older sister on Instagram:

“Happy Birthday to my big sister @gigihadid thank you for being born so that I could be born that was very sweet of u 🤍,” she captioned a slideshow of personal photos on Instagram. “Thank you for being the best sister, mom, daughter, human bean ever.
