Ben Affleck is tired of all those Raya rumours.

In May 2021, just after he rekindled his romance with Jennifer Lopez, a social media influencer went viral over a funny story about matching with Ben on the celeb-friendly dating app. Now, Selling Sunset star Emma Hernan is claiming she also matched with the actor through Raya.

Ben came up in a conversation between Emma and Chrishell Stause during the fifth season episode "Do You Think We're Friends," which dropped on Netflix on 22 April. "Remember when Ben Affleck went viral because he sent some girl," Chrishell asked, per People.

"He may or may not have been texting me," Heran replied, adding, "He may or may not have asked to grab coffee a few times." The reality star said she never took him up on the alleged offer and clarified that the exchanges happened before Ben and J.Lo reunited.

"You could've foiled Bennifer! He was on the hunt," Chrishell joked, to which Emma replied, “Right? It was right before that. So, maybe that wouldn't have happened. We have the Boston connection. So, that was his opening pick-up line."

However, Ben Affleck denies using the app in recent years. "Raya has confirmed that he has not been an active member for several years," a rep for Affleck told People on April 22.

Ben's claim lines up with previous statements. Back in 2020, the Good Will Hunting star told Diane Sawyer that he was “not on any websites,” specifically dating apps. “I know people who are on them and they have a fun time, but not me," he said at the time. "I would love to have a relationship that was deeply meaningful and one to which I could be deeply committed.”

Fast forward two years and Ben Affleck is officially engaged to his former love, Jennifer Lopez. The actor popped the question in April while Lopez was taking a bubble bath. “Saturday night while at my favorite place on earth (in the bubble bath), my beautiful love got on one knee and proposed," Lopez recently revealed in her newsletter, On the JLo

"I was taken totally off guard and just looked in his eyes smiling and crying at the same time trying hard to get my head around the fact that after 20 years this was happening all over again, I was quite literally speechless and he said, ‘is that a yes?’ I said YES of course that’s a YES.”
